June 2016

'A Winter's Tale' (or 'The Winners' Tale') is our Community Shakespeare Show this year involving over 40 volunteers. We played three shows at The Willow in May - two in the Barn and then a delightful Sunday afternoon in the Willow Globe itself to a full and sun-drenched house.

Amongst the audience were five of the Wet Mariners making their annual pilgrimage to Penlanole. They worked throughout the following week preparing their offering to us in the form of a brilliant production of 'Julius Caesar'. Again the sun shone.

The weather has been quite a feature of life here in Mid Wales this month and we were hosted by Patsy for a session of Have-a-Go in her garden last week. Here are Mel and Rob playing Perdita and Florizel under the spreading chestnut tree!
